Oh man, week two's already over! Had a really busy time this week, falling sick n monday and yet reporting everyday for work as well as going out on thursday night with the band.

well my one week with the zoo ended today. I had a good time and really enjoyed being a keeper this past week. Cleaning, feeding and preparing food for african herbivores. I've never touched giraffe or rhino in my life so that was also a great experience. And of course i had a fastastic time with the keepers, who i slack with 50% of the time since all the work's done already. Lol my keepers are so full of nonsense that we end up talking cock and eating the durians that dropped nearby. But i also got to understand the more important things go behind the animal's upkeep. Enrichment, breeding, behaviour observation and problem solving as well as the necessary medical care required.

Went to tampines to jam on thursday night which was fun, havent done that since the hostel days and it was just good fun with good company. Thanks guys! Just that i wanna kick mayfong for suggesting that place which meant i had to cab all the way down during peak hour. The direct trainride home was surprisingly short though 45 minutes to marymount from which i can now walk home. Whee. i love my new MRT station.

Two full days to slack off now, before going back for work on tuesday morning. The holidays are just passing too fast!
